Laboratory
Nursing Foundation Lab:
To nourish the foundation of nursing, our lab is well suited with simulators on which students will be taught the preliminary training of patient care. In simulation, the learning is made easy by resembling clinical practices and skills as closely as possible to the real patient care and environment . The nursing skills learnt by the student nurses using simulation are safely passed onto actual patient care later on during clinical practice.
Advance Nursing/ Skill Lab :
The lab accommodates students by providing scheduled time for both skill practice and patients specific preparation in all specialities. The lab contains advanced instruments and equipment pertaining to all nursing courses. The role of the teachers in the Advance Nursing Practice Lab is to support students learning by assisting the students with skill practice and developing critical thinking.
It helps to reinforce their knowledge through repeated practice of their procedure on mannequins. The instructors are there to assist students on a one to one basis, as they work through the skills of procedure using different learning.
Anatomy And Physiology Lab :
The Anatomy and Physiology Lab consist of all the equipment such as adult human articulated skeleton, adult skull, pelvic, heart with large blood vessels, eye with different section, full set of dis articulated adult human skeleton , specimen like Gall bladder, cyst, placenta, uterus and different charts of all the systems.
The lab is well furnished in such a way that the students are able to acquire their knowledge through their different demonstration.
Nutrition Lab :
Nutrition lab is equipped and well furnished with utensils and nutrition charts. It is well ventilated, lightning and adequate water facilities. The students are imparted knowledge to asses the nutrition needs, caloric requirement of different age groups and during various disease conditions.
Obstetrical and Gynecology Lab:
The Department of Obstetrical and gynecological Nursing provides quality teaching and offers best learning experience for learners. It provides with theoretical and practical components with essential skills and knowledge to deliver inclusive maternal and neonatal care.
Child Health Nursing :
It deals with preventive, promotive, creative and rehabilitative aspects of health care among children integrate the theory into practice through evidence – based learning and to develop interactive skills.
Community Health Nursing :
Community Health Nursing is the community oriented primary health care programme and the integration of community medicine with the primary health care of individual and community. The lab consists of the all equipment for providing the basic care in term of primary health care like community bag, maternity kit and others.
